I'm looking at buying one from a private party. Overall, Arctic Fox has a good reputation. Anyone had problems with their AF of this vintage?

We have a 03 33-5v and like it, but it been back to Winchester twice for repairs. The bedroom side was not install right and it cracked the sidewall and the roof started coming up across the front. The people in Winchester are a pleasure about fixing the problems. I am not sure I will buy another as there are no dealers on the east coast of NC.

We had a 2005 AF 29 5E and we loved it. We live in Coloraado and went down to Innovative RV in Baton Rouge to buy it.We saw another fifth wheel this last summer and we trader her off for it.We never had a problem with not like the Everest that we just bought for twice as much. Our friends just this week bought one(25R)and we will be up in the mountains over Memorial Day weekend. They bought it because of how they are built, heavyduty. Also because of what we thought of them. All manufacturing plants will have some problems nobody is perfect. But, what I saw in ours I would buy another one.....

My 2002 AF only had one problem that was not a purchased part problem. One of the cabinet doors came apart. The repair was really easy. Finished taking the door apart, re-glued the joints and reassembled it and it was better than new.

more than likely your unit was made at the LaGrande OR plant aka AF Headquarters. AF has a well deserved reputation for making good rigs and standing behind them. They put their money into frames and walls instead of glitz and glamor. You can also search their devoted fan base at www.afnash.com a website run by AF and Nash Owners - excellent forum that you can search for more info about the year and model of unit your are looking at.
