Vent pipe inside bathroom sink cabinet

I have a 2010 carriage model no# 36max1 royal international. Under the bathroom sink cabinet there is a vent pipe when i flush my black water tank with the tank flush pipe water comes out of the vent pipe . If anyone has had this problem what does the vent pipe vent and how did you correct the water leak problem. (thanks thang1)

Are you sure it's the vent cap leaking . Water in the tank shouldn't get that high and that vent shouldn't be for the black tank only the grey.
Are there any water lines running up the wall near the vent . If there are lines there not hooked to the tap set they could be for the tank flush .
The black tank flush line should have a vacuum break; to prevent back flow should the black tank over fill; , possibly up high behind the sink, and those are prone to leaking . I'll see if I have a picture.

It is the anti-siphon vacuum breaker device that is leaking.

They are OPEN to atmosphere (that's how they break vacuum) so when the disc inside doesn't seal the open cap water leaks out.....especially if water pressure is high

Replace it with new one OR remove it and hard pipe it with couple elbows.
RV MFG. is required to install due to potable water and black tank system ----possible cross contamination.

But I would really like to know HOW that would happen.
Possible...sure
Probable .....HIGHLY unlikely

Worried......
add a back flow check valve on supply hose.
No backflow and no more LEAKS inside the RV

The vent pipe under the sink is likely a Sure Vent or a cheater vent that is added to the drian line when they can't put in a proper roof vent. These are very common in RVs, and they can go bad and leak. There's just a rubber flapper valve inside that lets air in, but is supposed to seal to keep water from getting out.

It should be noted this drain line vent valve is different from the vacuum breaker shown by Old-Biscuit. Those are commonly used on outdoor spigots and hoses to prevent back-flow of contaminants into the fresh water supply.
