Voltage 3970

We currently full time in a 2011 Cedar Creek 36RE (39') and are about to buy a 2015 Dutchmen Voltage 3970 Toy hauler. We don't have any "toys" but instead plan to use the garage area to accommodate my wife's office and our hobbies.
Has anyone made this transition and, specifically, to a Dutchman product? We really like the feel of the 3970 and the "group seating" rather than the "galley seating that about 98% of the models have. Also, we're picking up an additional 5' by going to the 3970 (44'). Any pitfalls specific to toyhaulers, Dutchman or the 3970? Thanks!

It looks like a very nice trailer. And if you like it, then that should be the driving force.

I do have one question, looking at some pics and layout. Where do you sit to eat? Is there a table?

I am also in the market for a Dutchmen Voltage 3895 toy hauler. I have researched for three years and believe this is the best of the toy haulers.

Howdy!

We looked at and like the floor plan but after comparing them side by side with the Cyclone 4000 Elite we chose the Heartland Cyclone 4000. Like you we went from a 5er to a Toy Hauler to fulltime in and like it. We do carry a Smart Car inside out TH but really like theextra space.

I am new to the RV world and have always pulled conventional trailers. Is a 5th wheel more or less complex in pulling, turning, backing etc.....

I can't speak to quality of Dutchman but I think that is one of the best TH floor plans I've ever seen.

Not trying to change the direction of the thread but could you post a pic or 2 of your smart car in the toyhauler please?

Thanks
