Wanna be shopper

So here i sit, pondering the myriads of choices and endless hype from super salesmen. I am looking for a quality constructed 5th wheel that has it's owners bragging endlessly. Have I found such a site? I have heard some good things about Excel, and also Nuwa, are they comparable? Can I get some feed back from some present owners...please and thank you in advance for your support. Really would appreciate hearing from you.

I don't think you would go wrong with either a NuWa or Excel. Pick whatever one has the best floorplan for you.

I have a NuWa and am very satisfied. I think shopping boils down to price, floor plan, weight, and factory/dealer service. I didnt consider Excel more due to floor plan issues than the other factors. Today, I'd either look at NuWa or Carriage, and base my choice on discount from MSRP, actual purchase price and floor plan.
For us, NuWa came out on top for all of our important considerations.

I just got to put in a vote for DRV (Doubletree) units. Check out at

www.doubletreervsuites.com

Very well made for long-term ownership.

We have been looking at new 5ers to replace our '98 Holiday Rambler, and have now narrowed it down to seriuosly looking at NuWa. Has a floor plan we like, an upgrade to discs on heavier axles. I have gone through a lot of what I would call junk as well as our favorite, Newmar, just to big and heavy.

We upgraded axles and to disc brakes plus quite a few other options. Since we full-time, travel a lot, and have a longer time frame of use, we decided that adding and getting exactly what we wanted was worth any extra cost.
If you visit the NuWa Owner's forum, I think you will find owners that are very happy with their purchase.

Throw in the Mobil or Select Suites from DRV. Very nice units and well built.

We are also on our 4th NU-WA HH and if we wear this one out there will be a 5th.

We have an Excel and are looking at DRV (Elite Suites) or DynaMax who has recently entered the 5th wheel market.

I love our Mobile Suite except for the "vent" on the kitchen slide. Allows critters and cold air in. Really a nice unit. Can't really understand why it's built this way. Many DRV owners complain of this.
