Wanting a New Redwood 36 FL

My wife and I have been living in a Redwood 36FB for about 15 months now and love the Redwood. However, we like the 36FB floorplan much more and are interested in trading ours in for a new one. By the way, we live in the Redwood full time.

We live in north Texas and the dealer nearest us that sells Redwoods has the model we're looking at but isn't willing to come down on their price. Other dealers in Colorado, Ohio, etc have the model we're interested in and at a decent price.

Options, as I understand them (I'm looking for suggested approaches):

1. Take our Redwood to a dealer in a far away state and do the trade.
2. Try going to an RV show to check prices (there's one in Austin this weekend).

Are there any other options dealers could do, or Redwood themselves? The Austin RV show may not help since the same Texas dealer wil be there. I beleive they have the margin to come down and are just not willing at this time. May be a waiting game.

Anyone have any suggestions?

You say you are in a 36FB but like the 36FB (same unit) better and want to trade.

I would suggest you check-out McGeorge's RV in Ashland, VA.
