warrior 5th wheel pin box/frame sag

hi all,im new to this forum but have had my share of trailer issues.this one is scary.so it seems my 36ft weekend warrior 5th wheel is having an issue with the frame around the pinbox sagging up into the trailer.while towing i can see the distance between the hitch and bottom of the nose bouncing as i go down the road!the pin itself is not loose.the hitch in the truck is fine too.went out last weekend and found the drawers next to the bed,as well as the paneling next to bed bowed.looks like the floor is moving up.the frame around the pinbox itself is intact.it seems to be flexing where the pinbox frame meets the main frame near the front storage locker, housing the batteries and propane tanks. anyone out there seen this before, and any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,rick

You have cracks/broken welds in pin box substructure

Need to remove overhang panel that covers the pin box frame supports and visually inspect then repair damage

Stop using until repaired....pin box could collapse onto back of truck while in transit or while just hooking up

Just goggle '5th wheel pin box frame failures' and then click on IMAGES for lots of photos

Yeah, it happens occasionally. Only way to fix it properly is find a frame guy who's done the repair before. The bottom skin and maybe some side skin (not always) has to be pulled back to allow for a welded reinforcement. If it's a Lippert frame, I've heard they have a guy traveling and doing repairs. Perhaps you should contact them if its theirs.
