Has any Toy Hauler owner out there try to install a Washer/Dryer in their garage? I was thinking of buying a base cabinet from Lowe's and then mounting the Splendide 7100 XC Platinum on top of it so as not to make it so low for my wife.

If you have not done so already suggest to use the search feature to learn the pros/cons of the Splendide units. You may also want to watch for one that somebody removed and save a few bucks.

We have been using ones since 2005 while full timing. It's a well build unit. Our only choice due the 1200 rpm rincing cycle that cuts drying time.
These units are not light so a good solid cabinet will be required. But not a bad idea. And it will save space.

If you are going to install a unit, why not install stackables. You can wash and dry at the same time and the capacity is pretty good. The dryer is slower then a typical home unit because it is 110. We have Splendide stackables and love them.if you can route the wiring and the plumbing, you should be in business.
