I have recently purchased my 1st 5th wheel. It is a 1992 King of the Road 36ft.

Everything appears to work, except when I go to fill the water tank I have 2 water lines right by the wheels on each side that water starts to flow out of. I seem to have everything setup correctly, but I am wondering if I have a valve open somewhere I am not aware of.

Anyone have any ideas what I should be looking for.

Thank you, Mark

The fresh water tank will have a drain valve , should be above the floor where the water is coming out. Other water may be coming from the water system's "low point drains " , one for the hot water lines , the other for the cold, also above the floor where the water is coming out.

The fresh water drain, and hot water drains are both closed. The water is coming out at different points than there. I wonder if I could have a bad water tank? Maybe I should start pulling off the panels under the camper and see.

Some RVs also have low point drains and on my 5th, there are two drains protruding just beside the wheels and quite a ways from the tanks. I opened a panel just above these lines and found that they were drains and had shut off valves on the inside of the 5th but behind a small plywood panel. Good Luck. Alex

Thanks for all the help. I think I have it figured out. There are two shutoff valves by the pump. Evidently one needs to be closed, and the other open. I had both open.
