Water damage

We have some water damage on one side of our RV. The roof joints need to be resealed. Unfortunately, we did not catch this until the damage had happened. The panels inside are crunchy and there is a soft spot on the roof in the corner. Any advice on how to proceed with this? Will repairing the leak be sufficient to prevent further damage?
Can we get repair or replace the wall panel? We have a 2001 Arctic Fox.

You can reseal it, but the seal may not hold if there is nothing hard underneath to keep it from moving.

For a repair, you need to find out how far up it goes or if it's just superficial or actual stud work that is rotted.

We are working on sealing the roof right now. I imagine the panel needs to be pulled off to look underneath. I would like to find one similar to replace it if possible. The part that worries me is the soft spot on the corner of the roof. I've read there are epoxies that will treat it, but we need to look into this further. Any advice is welcome.

The roof is rotten? The best way to fix it is to pull the roof and replace the rotten decking and stud work underneath. Sealing on top of it won't always last because the roof won't stay still because of the rotten substrate.

I don't think the roof is rotten. Its just a small soft spot. I read there are some epoxy products you can useuse, but I need to do more research.

giving this is right over a slide i would look in to it more then a fast fix

the side wall over the slide from the load of the roof can sag and moving the RV down the road can make it really bad
