Water dripping inside from my A/C

What would cause this dripping inside from the unit in the bedroom?

We just finished (I hope) the same issue. I spent near $1000. Having the units inspected, baffles checked, drain lines cleaned, filters checked, etc all to no avail, water kept dripping.
In my case (and yours might be a totally different issue) we slightly, and I mean slightly lowered the back of the coach, this stopped the issue. We did this on the advise of a design engineer who suggested that perhaps the exterior fan was pulling enough vacuum to pull water out of the drain lines.
Seems to have worked for us, your mileage may vary.

All I had to do was remove the inside vent cover and snug down the 4 bolts that hold it on the roof.. they were very loose probably from settling of gasket on roof.. been fine for 3 years now.. Do not over tighten. just snug them down. In our case the water was running out the drain on the roof and then under the AC unit, under the gasket and dripping inside. Hope that helps

The drip could be from a clogged drain on the condensate collection pan. Remove lid from the A/C and inspect, clean fins while you're at it. Water shouldn't leak inside, it should drain onto the roof or a drain hose. If humid air is entering the return due to poor sealing of the ducts, this could cause an icing situation that could also cause drips. Remove inside return grid and look for water source. A leak could be an indication the gasket sealing A/C to the roof has a gap. You can try and tighten it down. You should see 4 large fasteners holding unit on the roof when you remove the inside grid. A slight tightening of those fasteners should snug the gasket a bit. If you can't tighten it up, then the gasket could be old and needs replacing. This requires unfastening the 4 bolts, disconnect the wires, and removing the A/C from the opening and replacing the gasket.

Evap coil has a drip pan under it to collect condensation'
Drip pan has 2 drain holes (one on each side) that allow the pan to empty out onto roof
(that what drips off roof when running A/C Unit)
Drip holes get clogged....pan fills up....condensation gets sucked up by fan OR runs out when A/C Unit stops.

Loose roof gasket can allow condensation from drip pan back into RV......but would also allow rain or water from washing roof to leak inside.
4 bolts should be 'snug' (40 INCH pounds torque......INCH pounds)
That is just past 'finger tight'


Icing up of Evap Coil
Low airflow (fan on LOW, dirty return air filter, dirty evap coil) and HIGH humidity will cause excessive condensation ---more than drip pan can handle---

Yup ... 40-50 inch lb. is about what an average person, using an average screwdriver, can generate using one hand.

Also yup ... try running the fan on High and not Auto, Med, or Low.

Had same issue a year ago. My problem was low freon. Friend of mine had his own hvac business so he knew how to charge an rv unit.

When they get low the coils freeze up and when it thaws the water drips inside.

Drip pan has drain holes. Sometimes they can get plugged.
On my Coleman units I can reach up underneath the cover and use a bread wrapper to clear the clogged ones.
