water heater

I have a keystone avalanche using a suburban water heater 12 gallon, need to know how do I access the 120 volt electrical switch? I don't want to take everything apart if I dont need to.

Your switch should be inside with a lighting bolt on it. If not look outside behind the panel at the water heater to the left of the drain plug.

Thanks I should have explained a little more, I need to replace the switch. Do I need to remove the outer molding and the four long bolts and pull the front cover off?

Ok , do you have the replacement switch ? New switch should give you the idea of the removal, method.
I haven't had mine out , but have replaced others like it , it's a friction fit, and if your not trying to save it pry it out , swap the wiring and the replacement should just push in.

Google; " Faulty electrical switch on suburban SW6DE hot water heater" for , photos and video
