Water leak from around main drain and water pump doesn't cycle

Have a pretty sizeable leak going on from around the main drain pipe. I turned the city water off, turned on internal water, don't hear the water pump cycle and have no water pressure at all. Are these events coincidental or a part of each other? Does someone have any suggestions? Sounds like at the least I need a new water pump but do you think that will solve the problem?

They are unrelated. Is the drain pipe leaking on the inside, like a clogged valve seal. Or leaking around the outside, like a cracked pipe or fitting that separated due to water in the pipe that froze? If you have not used the 12v water pump in a long time, the motor may just be stuck. But that still means pulling the pump and opening it up in order to turn the shaft. Pumps aren't that expensive, around $100, less if you order online. Might also be a blown fuse (which is pretty unlikely) or bad connection at the switch on the control panel or at the pump itself.
