welcome home entry lights

Does anyone know what the "welcome home automatic entry lights" are on Montana 5th wheels. What are they, where are they located, how do they operate, etc. Thanks

There's a light inside the entry of our 2016 bighorn that comes on when you open the door. It comes on entering or leaving and stays on for 5 or 6 seconds. We love the feature.

There's a pressure switch near the bottom of the door jamb that turns on the kitchen area ceiling lights on most models (you don't say what year yours is). Many (us included) disable the thing and put a motion detection battery operated light near the inside step instead. Keeps from getting every bug in the campground inside your trailer.

Thanks for your answer, still at a loss, mine is a 2016 3721 rl, I have no inside step. Not sure if the feature still exists, Keystone customer service doesn't have a clue, and can not get a call back from Lazydays in Fl. All brochures still show the feature on all Montanas. But again thanks for the reply, will keep looking.

The pressure switch (if you have one) is at the bottom of your door jamb and not having an inside step won't matter. It's a little silver metal button thing on older models, might be plastic on newer ones, but if it's there, you'll find it.
