went looking

Yesterday I went to look at a Keystone Cougar 327res. The salesman like my trade as he was drooling. Then he wanted to drop the price of a $45,000 unit to $41,500. Guess he doesn't want to make a sell. He didn't seem too interested in including a sliding fifth wheel hitch. At least I got a chance to see the rig I'm interested in. When its time to purchase I will seek a reputable dealer who doesn't think his rig is gold...and mine isn't. Any suggestions on amount I should look to save? 30 percent?

Internet specials can be very good deals. You have to do a lot of pricing research.
You should consider selling your rig privately to get the most $. The more you ask for yours on trade the less they will come down off sticker.
I didn't do the math on ours yet. Suggested retail is about 32k and we are paying about 21.5k on an internet special. Our trade in is not worth the time and trouble to sell privately - at least to us.
