What do you suppose is causing this?

We pulled the fifth wheel out of storage (Laredo 265RL) and washed it this weekend. When we did so, we noticed this:

Any idea what that is?

It looks like water is getting between the walls, or maybe just a bad paint area. I would check the seams around the whole Trailer and reseal it with caulking. How old is the 5th Wheel.

around 5 years. I will check the caulk. That spot is close to the middle of the wall though, but it has to be something like that.

I'd guess water damage. What's on the other side of that wall.

It's the back of the trailer. Not much of anything back there. It is right under a window though, so I re-sealed around the window. The old stuff was cracked there, so that could well be the answer.
