I asked if there were any trailer issues and his response was the only isssue they had was keeping them in stock. Call the sales number listed on Gulf Stream web site. They ought to be able to help you. I had to leave a voice mail & I sent email. I eventually was contacted by email. The guy is out of town at son's wedding. He should be back Monday.
Saw the GS Sat. Great living area. Small kitchen. I am 6ft3 and I didn't hit the roof in the kitchen but. But I do not understand why GS didn't take the height to 13.6 ft They have the 5er at 12 something from head to tail. The extra 9 inches would have made it better. But the living room area was the best I seen anywhere. Lots of room. Didn't understand why they put such a small TV in it but I came up with this, take the small couch and move it a bit and put a 55 inch TV behind it on a motor track. The GS they gad didn't have the second bath in back so the whole wall opened up. Very very nice. Now the bad part. I was told "salesman" that GS will not be making this floor plan anymore. And as I looked over the 5er I notice more than avg QA problems. I am a prototype mech and I wanted to re-design it as soon as I open the door. I was told"salesman" another brand is taking the lay out of the GS and making the same floor plan. Have to wait for that. Over all, I didn't buy the GS. Great floor plan but the workmanship and QC needed a lot of help. Wish the other RV makers would learn from GS floor plan.
