That is not for our old 05 Dutchmen Grand Junction. Model #35TMS, actual length 39'9", with a "master suite bedroom" which included an entertainment center and euro-lounger chair, king bed, and 3' on each side of the bed.

About the only way to know for sure is to look at the specific stats (outside length) for each unit.
I had a Jayco Designer 35RLTS that I assumed was 35'. It wouldn't fit in a 40' garage with the ladder on the back. I think it was a little over 39' not including the ladder.

What is a "coded" length? What makes you think the model number has anything to do with the length of the RV? Many, Many years ago before the year 2000 the length was used as a "model" number. If you have a question about the "length conventions" contact the RV manufacturer and ask and they will be glad to tell you what their "length conventions" are.

Model number was never a indication of actual length for all brands of RVs across the industry.
My first 5er was a new '84 26 RB (rear bath) that was just under 28' 11" from the pin to the rear bumper.

Our 2nd 5er was a 27 RK that was 28' 11" from pin to rear bumper.

My current '97 5er is a 28 RK that is 31' 10" from pin to rear bumper.

Our older 5th wheel trailers came with the pin back under the over hang as much as a foot. With the popularity of the short bed trucks the industry gave us the extended pin box up to 30" or so.

It helps when asking a tech question or seeking tech info to use the model number and not the actual OAL.

Our 36MAX1 is 36'11" plus the ladder on the back and the pinbox sticking out the front. When we reserve sites, I ask for sites to put a 38' rv in.
