What's broken here?

I was up on the roof off my Alpine 3600RS today and noticed this. It looks like there were 3 tabs going from the outside in at one point. Now there is only one attached there, and one broken one. It's right in front of my rear A/C and there is nothing else near it. It's also right above my living room area and there is nothing that I can see in that area from the inside. Also I have 3 vents plumbing vents in a different area of the roof about 15 feet away.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think it is a roof vent from your attic. I think you want it covered. We had trouble finding a cover for our attic vent and had to get one from the dealer where we bought it.

That's the base of an attic vent as JudyH said. If you Google RV attic vent -- images you'll see many photos of vents of all sorts, some very definitely like yours. Then do a shopping search and you should find them. Ebay also has many for sale using same search term. I don't know the diameter of your vent so I can't link to an exact match.
