Question What's is this 5th wheel worth?

I'm looking at this 5th wheel and wondering if this is worth 13,000 dollars? The owners have taken excellent care of it.

2005 Flagstaff fifth wheel 28 1/2 ft. with 1 expando in living-dining area. Lightweight, queen bed, sleeper sofa, corner shower w/tub, separate toilet, 2 dr. refrigerator, stove w/oven, microwave, double sink, surround sound, day-night shades, enclosed underbelly, outside shower, new tires, loads of storage. Immaculate! $13,000, O.B.O.

Thanks, Bob

The only answer anyone can give is: Is it worth it TO YOU? If it is then go for it. You will be glad you did, I think.

Not sure exactly which model you're talking about, but here's what NADA says about the
M-8528BHSS

$8030 low retail, $9680 high.

Sounds high to me. I like to be close to low retail.

Need the model number to be sure, but that rig is probably a $8-9K rig.

I don't care how shinney it is. It was cheep rig when new and still is.

Go to NADA.com. Everything is selling for back of low retail. DO NOT ADD any options. Most owners do and try to inflate their price.

Bob, here is the NADA link to the value, it shows $8,030 as low retail and that or below is what things are actually selling for

2005 Flagstaff Fifth Wheel Series M-8528BHSS Standard Equipment, Prices & Specs - NADAguides

You can go here and see what this consignment sales business has sold a similar one for. They have a 30' 2007 sold in 4/12 for 13K. It was 2 years newer and was a year ago.

Used Fifth Wheel Trailers Sold - PPL Motor Homes

I'm sticking by my $8-9K for what it is worth.

He's way high on his price. I agree with the other posters about using NADA low retail as a starting price, maybe adding $800-1000 for new tires and immaculate condition.

Way over priced. Offer low retail and they put on new tires and then leave.

Bob, If you like it, his ad says "O.B.O.". Make him a offer, face to face, all he can say is no. He might turn you down, but your offer may get his thinking going in the right direction.

After a few low offers he may call you back to see if you are still in the market.

Good suggestion jlb !

it never hurts to ask.... you can always go back up with an offer later, but lot's harder to go back down once done
