Where to air up 5th wheel tires?
We have to air up our tires to 125# - Where do you go to air up your trailer tires?

I own a compressor and that does the trick. It's a Porter Cable pancake with a 3 gallon tank. Highly portable and one of my generators will run it nicely. It also comes in handy for blowing out my water lines.

We bought a compressor. On our first trip I tried a gas station which didn't work so well. Buy a compressor, but measure the height in your basement first.

We carry a 120 V Coleman tank unit. That way I can loan it to people plus I don't have to run the 650Hp engine to pump some air.

Yep. We also had to buy a compressor. In fact I had one that was "rated" to 135 and it couldn't inflate them. Grabbed a 155 psi husky from Home Depot and it does the trick.

How heavy is the RV? Brand? Model?
Have you had the RV weighed so you can determine the tire pressure that's needed.
Just because the tire side wall say's 125psi doesn't mean it needs it.

There aren't any stations where I live that have any air other than the 25c-1.00 pedestals, and those ain't gonna get to 125. Find a truck tire service center, or a truck stop--they will have the compressors. Discount Tire won't touch them, Big Os will.
Or do what most of us have had to do--get a good compressor rated to 150psi.

When we went Full Time I didn't want to have to go looking for a place to get air..besides 5vr needed 110# and air adjustments S/B done COLD
Bought a 12V DC portable compressor........really small so I was suspicious it could handle the job and hold up.
That was 8 yrs ago and it was one of the best buys I made

I have a compressor at home and on the road I tried gas stations but quickly got fed up with that option. I ended up buying a portable from Harbor Freight that works OK. I used a Viair the other day and they are really nice.

Way too much effort to find a service station with air capacity and access. Carry a Porter Cable pancake compressor in the coach as well as a CO2 tank in the Jeep.

Based on the DRV in her signature, I'm going to assume they're the same tires I have. G114's.
It's a 36' rig, so they might not need 125, but I'm betting they'll still be way up there above service station territory.
Get a compressor OP. Stations that can air your tires up to the proper amount are few and far between, and you don't want to run under-inflated tires while trying to find that place.

I have a 150# portable air compressor (Dewalt) and 30' of air hose that I carry in the basement of our Cedar Creek to fill up our tires as needed. Plus a torque wrench to check the lug nuts on the trailer wheels.
