Question Who makes SHORT 5th wheel now

BY short I mean no more than 26' pin to bumper, even better the 24'range.

Back in the old days there were a lot. I just found out that Couger who used to make one between 26 and 28' is now closer to 30' overall.

I currently have an 01 Thor Wanderer 256 bunk house model, that's close to 30' and it's just too long to get into many of the smaller state parks or local campgrounds. I tow with a crew cab dually, so that makes it worse.

Kids are gone so we want to down size. New truck will be a while, but looking for a trailer.

We used to travel in a 17' dual axle Wilderness bumper pull which was fun until the kids so we upgraded to the bunk house, but even now to get dual axles in a bumper pull you need to go 24'

Any sources to look at. Would like at least one slide with good non wood construction if possible.

Thanks for any help.

Scamp makes a very short fifth wheel. No slide though. Arctic fox or Outdoors Mfg may have something that you are looking for.

Idle Time 219 RKS is 23 feet long with a slide. JIMNLIN has given the link for Allen Camper Mfg. Co. Entry level units but seem to be well built.

That one is 29.5 feet. However the 23.5RBS is an option at 25.5'
Thanks

I appreciate the help folks. It appears a few of the brands are thinking smaller, so I have more choices.

As I'm sure you are aware, don't believe model numbers anymore... Our new Cougar 28SGS is 31'4" front cap to back bumper... (we are happy so far though !!)
