Why no Grand Design owners forum?

We just ordered a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 377MBS. I'm wondering why there is no Grand Design forum for us owners to be connected to others?

Well Senior Chief if you drill down Winnebago acquired Grand Design back in late 2016 so in theory there should be a sub under Winnebago.

Right now, there isn't enough traffic here on iRV2 to support a sub-forum for GD.

However, as Sweetbriar pointed out, Social Knowledge (who owns iRV2) has a stand alone forum for GD RV owners & would-be owners.

Grand Design has what may be the best owners forum bar none. JMO but I see no need for another.

I've joined the GD owners forum. It's just that I've been a member of this (IRV2) for a few years and have learned so much from members, I hate to leave IRV2.

To me, the most active GD 'forums' I have found have been on the site that rhymes with 'pace took'. Over 30k+ members in the main GD group there. It has members employed from Grand Design which respond to posts regularly.

Why leave, it's free?
I'm a member of my brand forum as well as a member of many others. I find the wealth of knowledge is spread out across all forums. There's always something to learn.

I, too, belong to a separate mfr forum as well. While I get expert advice there, advice is equally as good here & because there's more activity here than there, I get answers faster here (sometimes within minutes vs a day or more at the other forum). iRV2 is the 1st place I post if I have questions.

Yep, it's hard to beat this forum. I've gotten so much help and advise here, (and hopefully have contributed some useful information as well).

I'll add to the posters who use multiple forums. I also subscribe and post on the GD owner's forum and a couple others that hold interest. Many of the issues have are solved on IRV2 though.

Is this why?

https://www.rvtravel.com/rv-horror-story-895/

This is a FB link. Shows what can happen to just about any RV made nowadays....there are some pretty sad stories on the DRV forums I frequent.
