I bought one about six years ago for my previous truck & tall metal cap and still use it. Although it does help some with my new/old truck and Montana, I believe it only gains about 1/2 to 1 mpg. What you'd get would depend on how streamlined the front of your trailer is. You've also got to mount it as close to the trailer as you can get for best effectiveness. I've seen some larger ones, but they're far more expensive and I don't know as they are as easy to use as an Aero Shield

I've always wondered what the real world test results would show. It seems that if they were that beneficial that you'd see a lot more people using them. In addition, I have heard that they are great for reducing the amount of bugs that hit the front of the fiver.

Several years ago, when I retired the first time, I tried delivering RV's for some extra money. That didn't work out, but the point here is that I talked to many other delivery drivers about ways to save money. The consensus was that the only good thing about them was moving the "bug line" up, making clean up easier and little, if any, appreciable change in fuel mileage. Glad I didn't spend the money on one. Some of them look pretty cool though...
