Winegard Dish w/ digital Magic

I am thinking about getting the Winegard Manual crank Satellite dish with digital Magic from Camping world. Does anyone have any experience with this and how do you like it vs. kingdome or the like.

I would have it installed on my W.W. LE3305. And am not quite sure were to mount it for the crank. It most likely has to be upstairs somewhere so my wife can reach it also. Either in the hall by the bathroom or in the bedroom itself.

I installed one in my trailer. I really like it. It's easy to set up. Can't help with where to located it on your WW.

I have a friend that has the internal crank up Sat Dish. It does work easy. The only real problem he has with it is the compass is not close to being correct. Somewhere in the overhead a ferris metal must be present that pulls it off.

I perfer to use a portable Sat Dish. I never have tree problems having 150ft of cable.

The next thing I will purchase in the line of roof top Sat devices will be the phased array
antenna. They are a little pricy now, but they will come down. No moving parts with the capability of recieving intranet as well. All other roof top Auto Sat Trackers are obsolete with this device on the market. See this link.

I also have that set up in my motorhome. I cannot help with location of the crank and digital magic box. But they should be where you can see the tv while tuning.

I just got back from Camping World and had this installed. I don't have pictures yet, but thanks to everyones help, I had it installed in the hallway next to the shower. The digital Magic box was installed on the wall behind the shower. The installer was able to use the access panel for the water to the shower for accessing wires and mounted the box about a foot above the panel. This is hidden when the sliding door to the toilet/shower is closed. I can easily see the TV in the lower part of the RV and also if we ever get one in the bedroom.

Operation is VERY easy. Actually works faster than my parents King Dome. If you can't see the TV very well, just turn up the volume. You can adjust by the tone the cable box puts out while locking onto a satellite.

The only problem I had was with the crowd in Camping World before 4th July weekend. But that is another thread.
