We've tried an iPad and it does not work. Processor speed is just too slow for full motion imaging. Believe me when I say an iPhone is the ideal size screen. It takes up less dashboard space and has excellent reception and frame speed. However, I will say the iPhone 6 is a better size than the iPhone 5. I recently bought an iPhone 6 over a 6+ because I felt the 6+ was unnecessarily large.
Today I pulled my AS about 450 miles without a single signal dropout. Bottom line is it works great!

Possum, is that a Peak wireless rear view system for $40.00? I have one of those install on my TT. I've been pleased with the Peak with a 7" screen. The camera fit on the license plate holder.
