wiring problem

I have a 02 everest.When driving the panle in my f350 shows trailer fault with a beeper going off.This happens dring or standing.With tow haul on or off.The brake lights work but the slide break control does not. I have checked tha accessible connections and they seem to be ok.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

You might receive more attention if you have the moderators move this question to the tow vehicles and towing board. I assume your Ford trailer brake control is the factory-installed unit correct? Ford should have a trouble-shooting guide for their brake control. That is all the advice I can offer.

Sounds like it is telling you that you have a short in your wiring. That could be anything from bad magnets to a worn wire. Just had this happen on my rig but I have a P3 and it tells me "overload" and it acts like you are explaining. I would read your manuel for the truck and it should tell you what your brake controller is trying to tell you.
