WOW I just bought a new RV Bar B Q

I just ordered an Olympian 5500 RVQ from Amazon. It comes with the brackets and flexible line that goes to a low pressre LP line on my coach. This thing is the bees knees. All stainless, with a stainless burner and a cast Iron smoke plate which is supposed to help prevent flair ups when cooking greasy foods and it comes with a piezo self lighter too. It hooked right up to the low pressure LP line with a quick connect fitting supplied with the coach and worked perfectly right out of the box.

My 5er was ordered with an outdoor RVQ 1 but this grill is so nice in comparison to the Q that came with the trailer. It's an even heat and it's good looking along with it's better cooking burner. I ordered it along with the storage bag and an RV bracket but the one that came with the RVQ1 that's affixed to the trailer worked fine. I'm going to add another bracket near the front door so i can do all my grilling there and the bracket that holds the Q to the trailer doubles as a stand alone base if needed. I'm one very happy BBQ fan.

Hi Paul,

Have you had a chance to use this yet? I love to BBQ and this sounds wonderful!

Yes, Sheila I have used it and I love it. I actually checked on line and the BarBQ has increased in price since I posted the link. I have been very happy with it overall though and the slide out tray on the bottom is nice.I suggest putting foil over the burner covers making them a snap to clean after use.
