Yellowing of plastic outside

I know most of us have a window frame or some kind of white plastic trim that has turned a pale yellow Has anyone figured out how to get these things white again ?

I have been corrected by DW that it is not the plastic parts but the gelcoat that is getting a little yellow

Gelcoat is only on fiberglas, and I've never seen it yellow much. The yellowing is UV damage and oxidation of the plastic. Any cheap paint (krylon, etc) will slow it down.

I replaced many of the plastic items with new parts. Painted them all with Krylon Fusion before putting in place. Items that were not available or to expensive I removed and cleaned then painted with Fusion. Rust-oleum has a similar product.

On your plastic parts you can use diluted Awesome, from the dollar store. It's quite powerful and will get those plastic parts white again. HOWEVER, do not let it run down the side of your rig, it will etch fiberglass or gel coat. I use the blue painters tape and tape some paper towels or those blue paper work towels underneath whatever I'm working on.

I've not heard of gel coat yellowing unless the rig is really old, no clue on that

The trim on most all RVs is not fiberglass, it is typically injection molded plastic with very little UV inhibitors in the mix. They begin to yellow in the sun almost immediately. The do it once fix is paint.
