I have the 2005 Saturn VUE. Great toad. About 3k pounds making one of the lighter SUVs. Nice car to drive, with good leg room front and back. We like the hatchback configuration as it makes shopping easy and we also travel with a mobility scooter. Tows and tracks well. I have the Demco aluminum light tow bar, at 25lbs it is reasonably easy to handle. You do need to pull the green 20amp fuse located in the engine compartment and leave the key in the AUX position to tow. If you don't pull the fuse your battery will discharge down in just under 2 hours....yes, I have towed with the fuse in. Pulling the fuse I have driven 3 days from LA to Portland without turning on the car...not recommended...without a problem, and the car was ready to go when we reached the campground.
Hope this helps.
Happy Trails.
