My brother just bought a '99 Chevy 3500 crew cab,short box, dually with 454 auto. Looking for the gross combination weight rating.

Well the 3500 is rated for a GCWR of 20,000 pounds with a 4:56 rear gear, had one. Not sure with the 4:10 rear gear but I believe 18,000 pounds.

Mine was rated for up to 12500 pound fifth wheel.
