2003 F250 w/Firestone air bags 5th wheel hitch?

Hi I have a 2003 F250 SRW 4X4 short box it also has Firestone ride rite airbags, I purchased the Pullrite Superglide 16K 5th wheel hitch and super-rails but it looks like the under the bed brackets for the superrails will interfere with the upper airbag bracket at the superrail mount for the post. Anyone have this set-up could you post up some pictures of the brackets above the axle at the frame or shead some light on this?

I just had the Ride rites put on my chevy 3/4 and they have brackets for mounting bags with trucks with 5 er hitches. It sounds like you are putting brackets in after bags were installed and you may need to replace bracket. Hope this helps. jim w.

On mine, I had to do it in the opposite order, 5th wheel kit, then bags, so I do know the aitlift bags had two different kits, one for to accommodate the hitch and one without hitch needs...
If you really are sad and think nobody cares, just try missing a few payments ! '11 Monaco Diplomat 43DFT RR10R pushed by a Demco Excali-Bar II hitch which is pushed by a '14 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport.

Our kits don't necessarily look identical to Firestone's but I assume your current bag setup looks like kit 57215. The main thing being the bag is directly over the leaf springs, correct? If that is the case your kit is not designed for having a fifth wheel.

A fifth wheel kit will look like 57390, which is the kit we offer for your vehicle with a 5th wheel hitch. You will notice in the link that this kit mounts the bag under/slightly in board of the frame.

Thanks for the replies, I talked to Firestone and I ordered Firestone "Ride-Rite" Air Bag Helper Springs (NO-DRILL) [REAR] (Kit #2550) to replace the kit I have it was also Firestone "Ride-Rite" Air Bag Helper Springs but the universal type they mount on the outside of the frame rails the new kit mounts on the inside of the frame rails.
I will be selling the universal kit once I remove them (brackets, hardware and bags).
