I really don't think you've got much to worry about as far as hitch weight. The the truck's weight distribution on my GMC 2/4 ton Duramax and 1500 Z-71 is roughly 60% to the front and 40% to the rear. Your truck with you, a passenger, a take of gas, and misc. junk is probably around 5100 lbs. My guess is 40% is carried on the rear axle or just north of 2,000 lbs. Your rear axles handles 3800+ (tires?) Youre not going to exceed the cargo capicity with a 22 ft camper. The weight distribution bars will take a lot of weight off the rear axles.
I think your main concern is how well your truck will tow the rig. It doesn't look like youre exceeding the weight limits. As I said already, hook it up and try it. But you're going to need a transmission cooler if not already equipped.

Thanks everyone....I have a transmission cooler so all I have to do now is give it a try but I certainly feel more confident. Trailer has been in "dry dock" all summer for repairs and renovations but we plan to take a short trip this Fall.
