For planning purposes you can figure your payload in the bed by taking the difference between GVWR and Curb wt. But once you have the truck weigh it and then take the difference between GVWR and GVW.

Actually the 3675 lb difference is a gvwr payload so its to be spread over the trucks fawr/rawr.
If the F250 does have a 3675 lb payload it can't all be placed in the bed when you run those numbers.
Most 250/2500 trucks rear axle can weigh in the 2900-3000 lb range. Now place 3675 lbs in the bed = 6675 lbs for a estimated 575 lb overloaded rear axle.
Ford F250 has a 6100 rawr which includes tires and wheels and rear spring pack. Now if the F250 has the heavy service package its the same suspension as the F350 SRW truck.
Some new gen 3/4 and one ton srw trucks with the high gvwr payloads are overloading their rawr numbers...... or as the 3200 lb gvwr based payload for a F150 with a small 4800 rawr.
