That seems awfully low, even for the taller gear ratios. What gearing does that truck have?

23,000 wet puts you around 4,600+ pin weight which is probably F450 territory!

Thank you all for taking a look at this. Gears are the 3.73. This truck is equipped with the camper package.

5750# would be 25%. That is what I run and it is very stable.

Spoke with Ford rep and found out that the F350 DRW is rated for 19,000 at bumper, 25,600 at 5th wheel and 31,000 at gooseneck. Guess I have just enough to haul

And the max pin is 9750. Easy to go over with a heavy 5ther.

My rear axle weight spec is 9750. Did you really mean pin weight at 9750?

I had 6k pin with a hauler bed and was over 10k rear axle weight. That is why I commented can go over with a dually. They tow fine like this. Very rough ride though. Bedsides are high on new trucks. Can have clearance problems. That is why I went hauler bed. Couldn't level camper.

The F350 has a higher rear axle weight rating than the F450. The RAM 3500 is higher then either.

Sorry they have forgotten the ONE important part...can it CARRY the weight???

My RV is 23K this is my CAT scale ticket. I am over by 130# on my RAWR. That will be resolved by cleaning out some "STUFF" when returning to home base.
