For those not in the know - it's sort of an inside joke(r) that claims to be God's gift to the diesel world on another forum..

Funny! Fiat Chrysler trucks. I have never seen one. As far as on the side of the road with the drive shaft on the ground maybe once in 15 years . Of course you could buy the invincible ford they never break ! All thier mechanics now work for Fiat. Lol
I own a Ram and have had 3 since 94 and never have l been beside the road for anything and my son still has my 94. He is a mechenic by training . Lol.
Had a blue Ovel in 81 with a 400 in it biggest POS l ever bought. Rebuilt the engine twice the 400 was a crap motor.
My point is they all have good and bad points denigrating another guys brand of truck is like saying a bad thing about his wife. If you are happy with what you have then good for you.

2017 Ford SD

My buddy ( dodge guy) and I had a little wager on how many pics we could get of broken down fords and broken down fiat Chryslers on the side of the road. In 9 months I had 13 pics of dodges with driveshafts laying on the ground.
So no , I'm not just bashing fiat Chrysler I was actually shocked that a manufacturer would let this happen. My buddy now drives a shiny new ...... Ford lol

Seriously? I hate to say it, but your basing your love/hate of Ford on a truck you had in 81? 34 years ago! Shoot, I was a HUGE GM fan for most of my life, but decided to at least be open minded with the fact that all Big 3 trucks are pretty awesome today. Especially when you are going to drop between $50k-$80k on a truck. Shop around. Know what you like and dislike about other brands. I wasn't a Ford guy until I drove a Ford. Sure, RAMs arn't even US own anylonger and apparently their welders took a nap while assembling the front crossmember of their new trucks, and 80% of RAM owners like to tow ghost trailers around requiring their tow mirrors to be folded out, naturally. regardless, all big 3's trucks are extremely reliable, stout, and more capable than ever.

To your point though, I had a 1984 GMC Jimmy SUV and man it would always leak oil and leak around the window seals... I don't think I'll ever buy another POS GMC truck again....because of the 84 Jimmy I had.....

Hey, those 80's Jimmys were enough to make GM dealers swear off GM.

I guess you didn't also see the videos and information regarding the Ford death wobble while you were looking for problems with Ram trucks?

You fanboys and you're confirmation biases are just weird people.

Yup, Fords have been known to do it too. I've seen the exact same results on a youtube video of a Ford SD, albeit a previous generation. Not hearing about it as much anymore.

There could be so many factors to a "Death wobble" that it isn't even worth mentioning without also talking about loading, modifications, tires and pressures, previous damage, repairs or maintenance, ad nauseum.

But i know one thing to be true: if your rig has a death wobble, put down the damned phone and deal with it!!!

So if we all drive a dodge and have Honda generators were good. Lol
I have ridden in my buddies truck when it does the same thing. Bone stock!! Had it to the dealer five or six times but they can't replicate it. Hence they do nothing, that is what is dangerous here.
Love the new ford !!
I like this one too

If we all get the equipment that does what we want it to do when we want it to do it, than yes, we're good. Otherwise, being a fanboy is something I left behind in my twenties.
