Nice truck.

What's the payload of it? I test drove a Sierra 3500 LB today and couldn't find payload or curb weights anywhere.

Weblink below is for the 2018 Chevrolet 3500HD. There are no changes regarding these specs between the 2018 and 2019 models.

Some may have noticed that I cranked up the front torsion bars lifting the front end almost 2 inches in an attempt to level the truck front to back without installing an aftermarket leveling kit. The factory “rake” drove me crazy with the backend of the truck sitting significantly higher than the front (3+ inches higher in the back than the front from the GM factory). Still need another inch to level the truck but I could not go any higher without putting the upper ball joints at too steep of an angle and cause possible binding issues. I also found it comical that one side of the front end was actually higher than the other from the factory ... so the front of the truck was actually tilted to one side from the factory.

I'm pretty sure when you adjust the torsion bars you are supposed to have it realigned. Those change the alignment and will cause your tires to wear very odd in no time at all.

It was realigned after the torsion bar adjustments before it was ever driven. Got over a $1,000 in new Michelin Defender LXT M/S tires on this rig.

Hey, let me know how you like those tires. Those are what I am looking at to replace my factory tires in about a year or two. I had Michelin LTX M/S2 on a previous truck and thought those tires were great.

Will let you know after about 6 months of road time. I can tell you already they are much noisier than the factory Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires. But they have significantly more siping and a harder rubber compound ... so more noise is to be expected. I bought these tires specifically because I spend about 20-25k miles per year on the road for work covering Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, & northeastern Nevada. So winter ice traction plus decent wear rate (life of tire) were my main selection criteria. I can also tell these are probably not a great off-road tire ... but I do very little off-roading with my truck ... have a Polaris General 4 UTV for off-roading.

I was in a similar situation - had a Chevy 1500 pulling a 7000lb. TT. Bought a RAM 2500 6.7LCummins. Night and day difference. I would never go back to pulling with a 1/2 ton truck. Nice looking rig, enjoy!

Sticker on B-Pillar, "Max payload", along with recommended nominal tire pressures.
Curb weights vary with vehicle and equipment installed. Best to actually weigh the vehicle.

OP, nice truck!

Picked ours up today.

2019 Silverado 3500HD 4WD CC SRW LTZ Duramax - Silver Ice Metallic

Getting ready to take her on a two week, 3900 mile road trip just hauling some gear in the bed. Putting a tonneau cover on it tomorrow, setting up the electronics and such. Got a pretty good deal given that it's a 19, but I have a car buying problem and have bought enough of them to know how to approach dealers.

This one has the gooseneck/5th wheel prep and once I'm back I'll be looking at hitches.
