Check Dennis Dillon motors in Idaho. They are generally the lowest prices in the nation. Ebay motors there is a dealer in the SE that advertises good prices also.
This time of year Rams are usually priced about ten grand off easily.

As far as cost, it has items I would look for 4:10 rear end, dual alternators, towing package. I would go around $60,000. for the cost.

We have a 2017 RAM but the Big Horn edition. I ended up giving $50,500 for the truck. Plus I purchased a extended warranty for the truck. Which came in handy this past August. The ECM for brakes and the ABS lights came on. The parts and labor came to $1700+, the warranty covered it but the deductible I paid was $100.

Also check on the 5th wheel hitch, the dealer let me have a 25K for $700 because it was sitting in the parts shop for a year, it was in their way and he wanted to get rid of it. Ran into that one!!!!

I kinda agree with $59,500. They will agree to $63,000 to easy and maybe even $60,000. So if you say 'you guys ready to sell that truck or not today for $59,500'?

It took me a month one time asking twice a week if they are ready to sell me a vehicle. I was ready to buy if they were ready to sell.

Good luck

Good catch on the tranny. It does not have the Aisin and I'm pretty sure I told the sales guy I wanted it. I think I'm going to pass on this one as I think we're going to be too far apart. I may go back to looking for used.

Thanks,
Rick

Really enjoy our Aisin and HO CTD, the only to get the HO is with the Aisin.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the 68RFE transmission. It is a hard working part. The Aisin is more geared toward the commercial end of things. My last truck had a 68RFE and it never left me wanting. In fact it was equipped like the truck you posted. I could go all day towing with cruise control engaged. Loved the way it handled my fiver.

Our local dealer told me that ordering of 2020 Heavy Duty trucks should start in November.
