Sigh. My point was it's beside the point. I don't really care how much a 2" receiver is good for on a DP. I'm just looking for 3" shanks that work with WD heads.

So far there is Andersen and gen-y.

Gen-Y has a torsion head that will work for $600 or so...I was hoping for something closer to $200.

They don't yet show a 3" in their catalog, but they had 2-1/2" before anyone else when that size became popular. They have some of their products made just for their business.

Just a thought I would find a good reputable Welding Fab Shop and see what they couyld come up with before I dropped 600 bucks.

Right? For $600 I'll use the dang reducer until a few more options show up.
