OP, the truck with the lower miles may be eligible for an extended warranty. You may even be able to purchase the Maxcare Lifetime Warranty. I'd check it out if I were you . And to answer your original question; If all things being equal, I'd probably go with the lower miles unit. As a few others have said, you should at least get a full quote from a dealer like Dennis Dillon Chrysler on a new ordered truck. An ordered truck is the only way to go, IMO. You pay for what options you want and don't pay for those you don't.
Yes the Tradesman is the low end. I don't need power seats so getting an SLT isn't worth it to me. I have all the power options, i.e doors, windows, I have the Chrome Appearance group as well.
Getting $10K off on an 18 is the way to go IMO. 19's are on the lots right now. The problem is finding one on the lot with the options you want.
Mine has the 5th prep, spray in bed liner, Snow Chief package and 4.10 gears 4x4 shift on the fly, CC LB.
