My DH is a Toyota fan. We are researching our first fifth wheel and would like to know if anyone has any experience with the Toyotas. Thanks

The new Toyota Tundra is comparable to the Ford F-150 and GM and Dodge 1500-series trucks. Toyota doesn't have an offering in the "heavy duty" 2500 and 3500 (aka 3/4 and 1 ton) classifications - these are the trucks that are required for most 5th wheel applications, and even they are inadequate for the largest/heaviest 5th wheels. With a 1/2 ton truck, you'll be restricted to the smallest conventional and the lightweight class of 5th wheels.

Thanks for the reply! I was looking at the information on the 2007 towing guide after I posted this and found out the same information. When DH called at lunch I had to break the news to him. He was disapointed, but now is excited to begin to explore the world of diesel trucks. Which is the topic on many of posts here so I can find out more info perhaps without having to post yet another question! lol! Take care
