Any Truck Damage from Andersen Ultimate Hitch

Yes! 2015 ram 3500 srw megacab with factory puck system. 2015 Montana 3610. While backing into driveway side of Cap hit corner right of cab. Dented cab and broke rear power window.. Loved the hitch for light weight.. had to put a superglide in... heavy..Click image for larger version

The mega cab bed is 6'4" long. A standard 5th wheel is 8' wide.
1/2 of 6'-4" is 3'-2". 1/2 of 8' is 4'.
The difference is 10". The Andersen doesn't have a 10" offset. The Andersen only allows 8"-9" of offset.
Operator error.

DID THE HITCH CAUSE This? If you read the question it was in regards to any damage from Andersen hitch? No, the hitch did not fly into the window... The answer I provided is in regards to ENOUGH CLEARANCE IN A TIGHT TURN. I WAS GUARANTEED THIS WOULD NOT HAPPEN. IT DID. I POSTED MY EXPERIENCES.. THIS DAMAGE WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH THE PULLRITE SUPERGLIDE...

People can say what they want but I love my superglide. It may be heavy but then again so is my 5er. Never have to worry about hitting my cab!

Who promised you the trailer would never hit? Even with my 8 foot bed I could hit the back window turning hard enough... really also is a function of front cap design.

First, andersens website shows a complete 90 with a five foot bed. The dealer I purchased the hitch from said he'd guarantee they won't hit... Dealer gave my money back.. I bought he superglide... 2015 Montana... To be fair, the Montana hit on YHE side of YHE cap, not YHE edge. This angle was a 90 going up a driveway..I loved the Andersen and this may not happen with non ram shortbeds. The ram is only 6'4"....I believe Ford and GMs beds are longer than the Rams..
