Anybody heard of Hercules Tire?

Had to buy new tires mid-trip and Hercules was the only brand in stock.

They are load range E and speed L.

I know the plant code is China, but are very new built 23rd week of 2016.

I searched but didn't find anything good or bad on them.

If I'm not mistaken, Hercules being a 60+ year old company had specialized in farm equipment and truck tires.

They stayed small and not very well known by the general motoring public. I've never heard any negative reports in publications or verbally about their product line.

The red dot on the tire is normally placed adjacent to the valve stem.
A balance thing.

I've used and sold them before on many light duty vehicles without any issues. Hercules is made by Cooper Tires which I've also used and sold many times. I currently have Coopers on a Lexus RX330. And both companies are headquartered in Ohio so I'm kinda partial too.

I have 4 on my Avion p30 trailer, wearing well and no problems, run them at the factory recommended 80 psi. I would buy them again.

I'm running their commercial truck tires on my hauler. We have around 20k miles on them now with no issues.

Anybody heard of Hercules Tire?
Oh yeah... their LT tires were very popular around farm and ranch country for many years . However their ST tire is one of the new gen speed rated ST tires so should be a step up from the old 65 mph rated tires that gave so much trouble to so many trailer owners (rv and non rv).

For those that need a G Rated tire for a heavy trailer the Hercules H-901 LT235/85-16 at 3750 lb capacity is very popular on haulers websites and other rv forums.

I had some put on the front wheels of a WGO Adventurer and they performed well. Good tire as far as I can tell.

Regards,
W.D.

Hercules tires are very commonly found on large agricultural (farm) tractors and on some skid steer loaders by major equipment manufacurers--OEM tires. And they're very good.

I've not seen any on road vehicles.

If Hercules is making tires in China that are of high quality, more power to them. They could join Sailun as the other Chinese tire manufacturer with acceptable quality.
