This F-250 has a cargo capacity of 3,497!!!
.

That is impressive. My F-350 6.7L Diesel has 3640lbs - your right there and its a F-250! Amazing how much cargo capacity you lose to the 6.7L and 4x4.

More stirrin' the pot. For those of you who said, "Wish it was a 4x4"

Take tuffr2's truck...add:
4WD
FX4 package
5th wheel prep package
Gooseneck hitch package pre-installed
Camper Package (front/rear springs for slide in camper)
LED clearance lights
Tow Technology Bundle
Upfitter switches
Power Running Boards
Engine Block heater (gas engine)
Engine hour meter

And it will look a lot like this:

Seriously, can you order any more stuff on an F-250 Lariat SRW?

mrgrayaz - I do not know anymore. I have always said that a F-350 SRW can carry 1,500lbs more than a F-250 as a blanket statement. But always heard a 2WD gas truck has a higher capacity.

I was blown away by the gas Ram 2500 having a 3,300 lb. payload. The gas F-250 FX4 at Palm Coast Ford has a cargo capacity I think of 2,600 to 2,700 lbs. So I will need to take a pic of the sticker as I find it hard to believe...lol, The truck is not here as the wife is driving it.

Normal_Dave - agree, that is one tricked out gas F-250. I would have liked to have a few of those options. I am a sucker for the camper package. Just the idea that I could add a truck camper and have a place to live is priceless.

Oh - funny I think, the old F-450 has the snow plow package and is now being sold in Florida.

"The wife is driving it..." Well, you know you made the right choice in truck, you might never get to use it now!

I got to thinking, Palm Coast may be "smarter than the average bears", they could setup that truck and fifth wheel, display the whole thing out front, sell it as a package just in time for Memorial Day, make up some of what you beat them out of on the new truck?

Here is a pic of the, to me amazing, 3,497lb cargo capacity. Wife is back and she gave the thumbs [emoji106] [emoji106] when she got home.

And one more...tuffr2's rig on a budget!

So you want that massive payload, 4x4, and "budget" pricing, get one of Ford's XL Work Truck packages with the right amount of dress up stuff. Like this one:

6.2L
FX4
3.73 Electronic Locking axle
6 passenger seating
Power Equipment Group
Chrome Package
STX appearance
Camper Package (heavy F/R springs for a truck camper install)
Power Trailer Mirrors
Backup Camera
Tailgate Step
Upfitter switches
https://www.robbierobersonford.net/n...earchDepth=5:5

Not bad looking for a "work truck". Compare this to pricing on used F-250s, and ask yourself, what more fancy options do you really need in a tow rig?

That does not look like a WT. It looks way to snazzy. That did not even look like the flat white paint.

That is a lot of truck for 39k. It will still have the boxed frame and aluminim body.

FX4 is a nice package for people that take the truck in extreme off road. 4 x 4 with a locking rear diff meaning you can have 3 drive wheels.

There was a guy looking for a budget TV. But I think his budget was 30k. It would be good if he could stretch his budget to 40k. Like I said, this is a lot of truck for the $$$.
