I don't have experience with the 5th wheel B&W hitches, but I do have a B&W Tow & Stow 5" drop tri-ball mount that I will say is a quality product. AND, just Thursday past, they called me... seems they have a recall on the adjustment pins on the Tow & Stow black pins. They are sending me free replacement Stainless Steel pins. SO, remember to register your hitch with the manufacturer (B&W) as they DO take care of their stuff down the road.

I do not have the companion hitch but have had and currently have the turnover ball in many trucks. Yes they are quality products and a great company.

I went from a RBW lil rocker to a companion when I upgraded trucks, they are completely different and worth the money for me. I like the locking mechanism a lot better than the slider bar. I'll keep that as long as I'm pulling a 5er.

I just purchased a B&W Companion for my '12 Ram DRW to haul my new Dutchmen Voltage TH. The TH hasn't arrived yet, but I am prepared for when it does.

Ditto on that question...since I have a Companion also.

I left the safety chains hooked to my truck when I dropped the Fuzion. Easier to take them off of it than out from under the hitch!

Being a little picky, but safety chains are not required for fifth wheel hitchups, only goosenecks. But certainly can't be TOO safe. That is what prompted me ask...thought maybe you had something else attached.

From GN? Yea fifth wheel is LIGHT YEARS better than GN.
What style mount is it? Classic or puck? Because I see bolts on the corners of the hitch into the bed.

Did you upgrade from the old style companion? Where is the center of the pin in relation to the center of your axle? With my old style companion the pin is centered over the axle with the uprights in there most forward position. Will the new companion allow the pin to sit forward of the axle?
