Picked up my new to me 2003 KZ, 32', triple slide 5er, and the tires that looked like new were originals. About 10 miles down the road at 65MPH, one blew, but thankfully did no damage. I'll be getting new tires before making any trips.

I would look at doing a tire upgrade to 16" rims and get some michelin xps RIB and never worry again (for the next 5~7 years). Trailer tires are rated to carry to much weight IMHO , if they only cary 70% ~80% of the side wall rating with MAX air they last for year. The porblem is that many OEM manufactures spec there trailers with lighter axels then they should have !
