I also have a Roadmaster Brake Pro. New in 2006. It got to where it would either apply the brakes and not release or not apply the brakes at all.
I could take it out and shake/rotate it, re-install it and all would be fine. I called Roadmaster and described the problem. I was told the deceleration sensor was probably bad on the ckt board. OK, can I buy a board. Nope, that model is no longer serviced. Do you make the boards? NO. Can you give me the name of the company that makes the boards? NO. What can I do? We will sell you a new one for 50% off, if you ship the old one back to us. Nope, this was in 2010, so a unit that is 4 years old, no longer serviced, and they want to sell me a new one for more money than I can buy a new one off EBay.
Because of this, I no longer recommend Roadmaster products.
