A 2012 cummins? That's a negative ghost Rider. If it was a cab and chassis, then yes it would. However it didn't come out until 2013 in the standard pickups.

Correct...I do not believe Ram had DEF until 2013. A year or 2 behind the other makers.

My mistake. The subject was GM and I didn't notice he was referring to Ram.

I own a 2013 duramax pulling an 11,000 lb Cougar 36 foot fifthwheel. I live on the East coast. We visit the East Coast Beaches all the down into Florida. I maintain a speed of 60-65 mph. For sure, the Duramax/Allison transmission is a super combo. Plenty of power when its needed. Driving sensible, I get 12.5-13.2 mpg. Running truck without Camper I get 21-22 mpg on interstate, but if I run 70mph, the mileage drops to 19-20mpg. Thats still great for me. Yes I really would buy another one if I needed too.

Chevy

Last year we changed from Class A motorhome to a Chevy 3500 "High Country" duramax diesel and 30 Ft Glacier Peak 5th wheel. We are delighted with our rig. The truck is a pleasure to drive (I drive it to work) and is an excellent tow vehicle. The engine brake is amazing! I would go Chevy anytime! Alex
