Is 15,500 the dry weight or the GVW? The Q 20 is a 20,000 lb hitch, and its a pretty good one. As long as your trailer doesn't weigh over 20K loaded, then it will be fine.

I have a Q20, and I like it OK. It doesn't always hitch up easy, but I found that since its got a rubber bushing mount thing that lets it articulate every which way, sometimes i have to grab the lock handle and move the hitch head a little to get the jaws to latch. Not a big deal at all once I figured that bit out.

good afternoon and thanks for the response. the 15,550 is the loaded weight. the dry weight is 12,200lbs. i'm totally new the fifth wheeling and a couple of different rv shops suggested the q20. i'm be towing it with a silverado 3500hd diesel. so you're pleased with the one you have? i think i will probably buy this. just wanted to see what others thought.

thanks again...
