It lives!!

I just got done going for a test drive. IT FELT GREAT to drive my truck again. Now I get to try to collect some money from the first shop.....

Been to Standish, MI.. In fact broke a window in my car there and had to get it replaced.. nice little town.. (I have membership in a nearby campground).

At least your BANG is only the tranny.. Mine was the 8.1 L Vortec in this motor home.. Going to be a while before I get back to Standish :(.

OH well.. Reviewing my budget.. Looks like I will make it back to Standish, just 2 or 3 years.

Believe me, this certainly wasn't in the budget. The first time was about $1400 and two weeks later it was another $1200...... I consider that to be a bit 'expensive'. Guess I am going to need to keep my truck a while longer.

Got an e-mail from the shop that first fixed my tranny. They said they are going to cut me a check! Now to see when that happens.
