Demco KarKaddySS Parts

My KarKaddy has done a wonderful job on a 7000 mile western trip, including a section of Highway 1 in north California to get us to an oceanside campground.
However half way across Nevada on I-80 we had a catastrophic failure of one of the tires. I have replaced both tires, but the one which exploded also destroyed all of one of the fender assemblies. I would like to find a source for the complete fender assembly, as well as a few other parts I need. I live in south central Ohio, if that makes a difference,... Thanks

When a similar blowout occured on my Demco KarKaddy I called Demco and they promptly sent all the parts I needed for a complete repair including a can of matching spray paint. It was at my expense, which I expected, but it was prompt, they were most helpful and I appreciated the concern they expressed.

Have had our KK-460 since 2007 so it's well out of warranty. Had one fender crack around the rivets last year. Called Demco, they had me send pictures. Then they asked for my shipping address. A few days later two new fenders arrived at NO CHARGE even though there was no warranty. I had to change both as the new fenders were wider and looked like they would accept a 15" tire rather than the 14's I have. Earlier they had sent me a spring stop that was needed by DP's with engine/exhaust brakes, again, no charge.

I just went though this-again. No more Carlisle or Marathon tires for me. The best price I got was through Orlando RV. I paid something like $190 including shipping for the whole assembly. This was for a Kar Kaddy SS. PPL is also a terrific company to buy from. They may be able to supply what you need as well.

When needed new straps for my KarKaddy SS. I found Ryder Truck Parts was much cheaper than others. As suggested try Demco first. They have been very good for repair parts. But if you have to buy from them they are expensive.

I need to replace the wheel/hub assembly on Demco Car caddy. Old one is press fitted in the retainer assembly. Need info on how to get the old one out and new one in. Any help will be appreciated. BillyD.S.
